Noise in the Sheep shed is the first track of a musical composition called Beats 'n Bits, A musical trilogy containing three tracks, which can be played separately, or can be combined in a loop. They are entirely made of sound bites coming from several field recordings.
The sound samples used are mainly coming from recordings of Lambs in a Sheep shed. A lot of their noisy bleating, rambling against iron fences and shaking of the feeding buckets by the sheep farmer. The lead melody is coming from a sample made of the sound of the wind blowing in the holes of a crush barrier.
Also sounds of a bridge, a ship engine, a Fallow Deer, and many others are passing by.
The composition was initially made for the Art&Culture trail Midden Walcheren 2015, and received many positive reactions.
