When you put a few old and dried bricks in water they start to bubble which gives really amazing sounds. Sometimes they sound like birds, crickets, or even barking dogs! They can go on for minutes before they're so filled up with water the bubbling stops.
This recording was made with a hydrophone placed in a bucket filled with water and moving some old bricks around it.
What you hear is the recording as it is, no special effects are used. Only a bit of gain riding and EQ to control some loud frequencies.
